What you'll be doing

• Design, implement, and manage Okta-based identity solutions, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems and applications.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices, ensuring the highest levels of system security and user authentication.
• Lead the evaluation, testing, and deployment of new identity management technologies and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their identity and access needs, providing expert guidance and customized solutions.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in identity and access management, incorporating relevant innovations into our infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in identity and access management, with a strong focus on Okta solutions.
• Expertise in implementing and managing SSO, MFA, and identity governance across a complex organizational structure.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of IAM tasks.
• Strong understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You might also have

• Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, or Consultant.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective identity management services.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.
• A track record of contributing to open-source projects or community forums related to identity and access management.
