About the Role
Are you an experienced operator with a strong interest in equipment? Do you enjoy working with advanced machinery, solving technical issues and continuously improving production processes? Then we would like to meet you.
As an Operator at Redefine Meat EMEA B.V., you play an essential role in keeping our production and packaging lines running safely, efficiently and reliably. You combine hands-on production work with technical troubleshooting, first-line maintenance and process improvement.
You work closely with Quality, Technical Services, Factory Technology and Logistics. In addition to operating the equipment, you help colleagues develop their knowledge of our machines, products and processes.

Your mission
What will you do?
- Operate, set up and monitor one or more production and packaging lines.
- Coordinate activities at your assigned workstation or production line.
- Monitor safety, quality, delivery and production costs.
- Check machine settings and adjust when required.
- Identify, analyse and resolve technical disruptions and minor equipment failures.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the Technical Services team and provide clear information about the problem.
- Monitor the production process and carry out quality checks to ensure products meet the required specifications.
- Recognise deviations in equipment performance, product quality and production output, and take appropriate action.
- Contribute to root-cause analyses and structural solutions for recurring problems.
- Carry out prescribed cleaning procedures and ensure machines and work areas meet strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Actively suggest and support improvements to machinery, working methods and production processes.
- Develop your knowledge of our products, equipment and processes.
- Help create and maintain work instructions and training materials.
- Train and support production colleagues in the correct and safe use of equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
What you'll bring
- Vocational education at MBO level or an equivalent level of working and thinking, preferably in a technical or process-related field.
- Relevant experience as an Operator, Technical Operator, Machine Operator or Process Operator in a production environment.
- Strong technical affinity and practical experience with production machinery.
- The ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and perform first-line maintenance.
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Experience with machine setup, adjustments, changeovers and production process controls.
- A safety-first mindset and knowledge of food safety and HACCP requirements.
- A proactive and hands-on attitude: you recognise what needs to be done and take ownership.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and an interest in Lean manufacturing principles.
- The ability to explain technical processes clearly and guide or coach colleagues.
- Good spoken and written English.
- A positive, collaborative and flexible attitude.
- Experience in the food industry is an advantage.

Working conditions
- The work is carried out in a factory environment with machinery and production noise.
- The working temperature is generally between 8°C and 12°C.
- You must be physically able to stand for extended periods, lift materials and perform repetitive tasks.
- You are available to work between 06:00 and 18:00.
- A two-shift system may be introduced in the future. You must be willing and able to work in this system.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
