Role Overview

We're seeking a creative level designer to join our team and work on our successful casual puzzle titles. As a level designer, you'll have the exciting opportunity to craft, design, and analyze levels for our existing and future puzzle games, contributing to their continued success.

The Impact You’ll Make:
  • Craft engaging, challenging, and fun levels that align with core gameplay loops, player expectations and monetization strategies.
  • Design new mechanics that enhance depth and progression while fitting seamlessly into the game’s design approach.
  • Evaluate player data, identify trends, and optimize level funnels for retention and monetization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers to align level design with overall product goals.
  • Keep an eye on top-performing games to understand market trends and extract insights.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a level designer, or in a similar field.
  • Proficient in using Unity3D level editors, and tools.
  • Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and monetization, particularly in the puzzle genre.
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to align design with the product vision.
  • Advanced analytical skills, ability to spot patterns and trends
  • Experience with balancing levels and funnel optimization
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level design experience in Match-3 or similar puzzle genres is a huge plus
  • Experience with liveops, A/B testing, or data-informed iteration cycles.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar visual collaboration software for mock-ups
  • Track record of publishing/working on successful hypercasual, casual, or AAA titles
