Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Producer, you will own execution for one of our feature pods, driving clarity, alignment, and predictable delivery across disciplines. You’ll partner closely with product, design, engineering, art, UX, analytics, and QA to bring features from concept to live release. You will also support the Lead Producer in leveling up the production processes across the team and help mentor and unblock other Producers.
This is a 6-month contract role with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and business need. We’re looking for someone who can step into a complex environment quickly, steady the system, and meaningfully expand team throughput within the first 90 to 120 days.

Lead High-Impact Feature Delivery

Lead High-Impact Feature Delivery
- Own production for a high-volume feature pod running multiple concurrent features, improvements, and A/B tests.
- Work closely with design, art, product and engineering to create clear requirements, timelines, and integration plans.
- Improve team’s utilization by driving predictability, reducing churn, and clearing blockers early.
Drive Predictable Planning & Execution
- Run sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, feature scoping, milestone planning, and retros at a high bar of clarity and consistency.
- Anticipate risks early and develop mitigation strategies that keep the team moving with minimal disruption.
- Improve visibility of progress, resourcing, and capacity across the team.
Strengthen Cross-Functional Communication
- Facilitate alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, Art, QA, Analytics, and UX.
- Ensure the team operates with clear expectations, timely decisions, and unblocked next steps.
- Provide crisp weekly reporting, risk updates, status summaries, and KPIs.
Support Production Excellence Across Wordscapes
- Partner with the Lead Producer to improve production processes, tools, templates, and standards across all pods.
- Help identify systemic inefficiencies and drive scalable improvements that increase velocity and predictability.
- Provide mentorship and directional support to Associate and mid-level Producers as needed.
Contribute to Studio-Wide Success
- Maintain a high bar for team communication, decision-making, and documentation.
- Help reinforce healthy, sustainable, player-first development practices.
- Collaborate with the Lead Producer and Executive Producer to ensure strong alignment between delivery plans, business goals, and player outcomes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of production experience in mobile games or interactive development.
- Proven experience shipping features and supporting live operations within a F2P mobile environment.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of agile workflows, game development pipelines, and cross-discipline collaboration.
- Ability to turn ambiguity into clarity and to drive alignment among diverse partners.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and production tooling supporting complex pipelines.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Passion for mobile games and curiosity about what keeps players engaged day after day.
- Experience supporting process development or building production standards for multi-pod teams.
- Be a proactive team player, stepping in to fill gaps, assisting peers who are overwhelmed, and getting hands-on when necessary.
Bonus Points
- Experience working on casual puzzle or word games.
- Experience running pods managing multiple features and A/B test pipelines.
- Familiarity with Unity, mobile dev pipelines, or live ops content systems.
- Experience in remote or distributed teams.
Why This Role Matters
Production capacity is now the primary bottleneck to unlocking Wordscapes’ next stage of growth. By adding a Senior Producer, we aim to:
- Increase feature throughput by +1 feature per quarter.
- Improve engineering utilization from 90 percent to 95 percent or better.
- Raise on-time delivery predictability to 85–90 percent.
- Free significant leadership bandwidth to improve strategy, process, and team development.
This is a high-impact role that directly contributes to player experience, team efficiency, and the game’s business performance.
Benefits
As this is a contract role, it is not eligible for full-time employee benefits. However, here are the advantages and opportunities you can expect with this contract position:
- 6-month contract role, fully remote from anywhere in the U.S.
- Potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs.
- This contract position offers a competitive compensation range of $110,000 to $150,000 per annum, depending on factors such as location, relevant experience, and skill level. Final rates may be adjusted based on project scope and the needs of the engagement.
