Procurement Specialist

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, technicall and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end purchasing processes, work closely with R&D, production, and finance teams, and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials and services to support XTEND’s rapid growth and production scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage RFQs, supplier selection, price negotiations, purchase orders (POs), and end-to-end delivery tracking.
- Source electronic components, mechanical parts, and services based on engineering and production requirements.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate procurement.
- Work closely with R&D, Operations, and Finance to meet project timelines and cost targets.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and quality; build and maintain strong relationships with local and global vendors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records within the Priority ERP system.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement in purchasing workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles within the High-Tech, Defence, or Manufacturing industries.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in purchasing electronic components and mechanical assemblies – Must.
- Reading Drawings: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Deep, hands-on experience with Priority ERP – Must.
- Strong negotiation, multitasking, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Fluent in Hebrew and English (both written and spoken).
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, etc.).
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with global import/export regulations and defense-related compliance.
- Background in engineering support or production planning.
- Experience with global supplier scouting and supply chain risk management.
