Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced product marketer to drive product marketing strategy, messaging, positioning, and content generation across the buyer’s journey for HPE GreenLake cloud data services, HPE Alletra Storage and HPE Storage for AI. In this role, you will see the world from our customers' eyes and build compelling, strategic narratives to drive awareness and preference for HPE Storage.

To be a successful candidate, you will have proven experience of product marketing at a storage vendor, public cloud, SaaS or AI company, or across early- and mid-stage businesses. You should have a track record of building compelling narratives and creative content that connects with customers across the buyer’s journey. You should be experienced in positioning products in the market to drive instant clarity for buyers and sellers on the right product for the right use case. You should have a passion for technology, but proven ability to captivate new customers above the technical details. You'll work closely with product management, worldwide sales, and GTM (Go-to-Market) teams to get the right message out to the market and drive product launches. This is a critical role in driving the transformation and growth of HPE Storage.


  • Drive product marketing for HPE GreenLake cloud data services, HPE Alletra Storage and HPE Storage for AI with a focus on creating thought leadership and accelerating pipeline through impactful messaging, positioning, and storytelling.
  • Develop and deliver differentiated and impactful marketing content strategy for HPE GreenLake cloud data services. HPE Alletra Storage and HPE Storage for AI for marketing campaigns, our website, buyer’s journey, press releases, briefings, sales plays.
  • Drive thought leadership that creates attention to HPE Storage’s POV for AI, cloud operational experience and cloud-native data infrastructure.
  • Enable our global sales force and channel partners to effectively communicate the value of HPE GreenLake cloud data services, HPE Alletra Storage and HPE Storage for AI.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Marketing or Engineering field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years marketing experience in a relevant industry, across product marketing, product management, or solutions marketing. Experience in marketing cloud-native or SaaS solutions preferred.
  • Subject matter expertise in hybrid cloud, cloud services, data management, storage as a service, AI, enterprise storage, and/or data protection strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product launches, positioning products, and scaling businesses in competitive markets.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Thinks strategically and executes on marketing strategies around HPE GreenLake cloud data services and HPE Alletra Storage.
  • Superb written/oral communications, including presentation skills.
  • Hands on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including product demo videos and succinct slide pitch decks.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity to break through the noise and earn attention.
  • Excellent negotiating abilities.
  • Accomplished project management skills with the ability to optimally structure and prioritize work.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
  • Good influencing and consensus-building credentials.
  • Conflict resolution experience.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $111,000.00 - $255,500.00
