Job Family Definition:

Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Management Level Definition:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

This role is part of HP Enterprise's Global IT across Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, and aligns with the Data and Analytics group, which is a growing team and works in a fast-paced environment. Analytical solutions include HP Enterprise's customers and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance etc., multi cloud data lake, batch and real-time data ingestion, business data architecture, data science, and visualization using open source, and 3rd party software.

Senior solutions architect brings hands-on experience to design and implement data and analytics capabilities, industry thought leadership in business data architecture, works with the business users and technologists, analyses systems, and gathers how data is used in them, designs information flows from source systems to the data lake, implements data governance and catalog. Researches, designs, develops, and tests data models, algorithms, and visualizations. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies.

What you’ll do:


  • Participates as a lead member of solution architecture - performs analysis of functional and business data requirements, designs solutions, and develops scope, plan, and budget. May lead project/ program development team.
  • Performs hands-on development of data model, and MVPs using open source and commercial big data products.
  • Performs data analysis and participates in the build of data catalog.
  • Develops machine learning models and visualizations.

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

Technical bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7+ years related experience, or a master’s degree and a minimum of 7+ years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 8+ yrs in Delta Lake,Python, Scala,SQL Programming
  • Troubleshooting ability of the exisiting code
  • IT experience with emphasis on Data Warehouse/Data Mart Design
  • Development using various Data warehouse and ETL technologies.
  • 6 Plus years of cloud experience in Databrics, Pyspark, Azure data factory, Azure SQL database, Azure Synapse analytics, Scala.
  • Experience in Designing and developing efficient and scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark with python on Azure using services like Azure data lake Storage, Databrics, Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL and Azure Datafactory.
  • Hands on Programming experience in Pyspark, SQL, Python.
  • Experience of handling Big-data and design & develop scalable On-Prem or cloud solution.
  • Responsible for handling end to end project deliverables with team and providing efficient solution to client based on business needs.
  • Working with Business and experience in handling Business meetings, gather requirement and worked in challenging environment.
