This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

We are currently looking for Payroll Manager with GERMAN to join our organization.

How you’ll make your mark:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of team-management experience – preferably in HR/Finance/Accounting areas
• English and German language skills MUST to have
• Strong MS Office skills
• Knowledge of SAP FI will be an advantage
• Advanced analytical skills
• Ability to generate original ideas and implementation
• Ability to relate payroll services to business environment, processes and organization
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
• Team member and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• This role reports to the EMEA Regional Payroll Manager
• Manages the team processing payroll in EMEA (preferably DACH countries)
• Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of employee and statutory payments processed by the payroll team
• Acts as a member of the Payroll Organization and proactively liaises with HR, employees and Controllership to ensure that payroll is processed efficiently
• Cooperates with external parties like local payroll vendors
• Leads a moderately complex transactional payroll process, typically exercising a basic understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives
• Supports transformation and new process implementations projects
• Maintains a good understanding of all payroll processes to ensure that new and improved services are delivered in an HPE consistent manner
• Proactively identifies opportunities for the development of systems and tools and engages in the design
• Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development of team members.
• Ensures that the proper tools are in place to support the team and the processes
