This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

HPE Services is our innovative IT services organization. It provides the expertise to advise, integrate, and accelerate our customers’ outcomes from their digital transformation – giving clients the most effective solutions for a fast-paced, modern business along with the expertise to achieve maximum business benefit, and to deliver better experiences.

In a typical day as a Solution Architect, you would:

  • Establish trusted advisor relationships at senior levels for specific customers.

  • Craft detailed and well-documented hybrid cloud solutions that address the specific needs and challenges presented in an RFP in close collaboration with the sales team.

  • Collaborate with business units, conduct workshops, and gather detailed technical requirements.

  • Facilitate goal-aligned discussions with customer stakeholders and propose technical solutions aligned on HPE’s and partner portfolio.

  • Provide strategic guidance for hybrid cloud adoption, aligning with business objectives.

  • Develop cost models and recommend strategies for optimal cloud spending.

  • Define and communicate the hybrid cloud adoption roadmap, including key milestones.

  • Design end-to-end hybrid cloud architectures, seamlessly integrating on-premises infrastructure.

  • Lead implementation, ensuring compliance, security, and adherence to best practices.

  • Oversee migration of applications and data between on-premises and cloud.

  • Continuously monitor and optimize hybrid cloud performance, implementing automation.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices and assist with the development of the technical community.

Your technical skills:

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT Architecture

  • Very good market knowledge of IT consulting services in the field of cloud transformation, including IaaS/PaaS, DevOps, CI/CD, containers

  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM is preferred

  • Knowledge of Linux, Windows OS, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure and microservices would be nice to have

  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.

  • Proficient in infrastructure design and architecture methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing and hybrid infrastructure models.

Your professional skills:

  • A strong professional with consistent business acumen and general management leadership abilities including accountability.

  • Able to build relationships with C-level executives in client organizations.

  • Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation.

  • Native in Swedish and fluent in English languages (in writing and speaking).
