Job Description:
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Manages exempt individual contributors and/or supervisors. Has accountability for results of a major program in terms of cost, direction and people management. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Staff members' work may involve strategic issues. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members. Typically reports to MG2 or Director.
Additional guidance/criteria: Manages and controls activities within a single country or a sub-region which is part of a larger geographical Region; Manages at least 4 employees and typically between 8 and 15 direct reports. Span of Control guidelines may differ from these numbers.
Key responsibilities :
- Ensures proper tools and resources are in place to support team efforts.
- Provides strong leadership, develops and monitors individual and team performance goals, and manages change.
- Directs and prioritizes important , complex business planning projects by monitoring deliverables and milestones, including developing contingencies to minimize risks and maximize success.
- Manages the development of project guidelines, plans, objectives, and deliverables.
- Influences senior management by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations for optimizing business performanceDeal simulation – Support simulation requests by identifying gating items and providing estimated supportability to facilitate decision-making.
- Regional Demand and Supply Matching – Conduct comprehensive reviews of regional demand and supply status, Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically 6-10 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
- First-level university degree.
- Experience in people management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning tools and flow (o9 , S4 )
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to monitor FCST signals.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to independently draft and present key deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies.
- Ability to manage resouce to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.
