Job Description:

We are looking for a Partner Development Manager (PDM) for HPE Financial Services (HPEFS). This position will not only be the liaison between the Partner and HPEFS Go To Market community, this position is the strategic architect that allows for robust partnerships to drive mutual growth and success. This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix, Arizona.

PDMs are responsible for delivering tailored solutions for the Partner, understanding that one solution does not fit all. PDMs provide market insights to both the Partner and HPEFS, allowing us to stay ahead of the competition and lead the financial services and asset management solutions.

The PDM makes an impactful contribution to the business growth by maintaining the relationships and expanding the Partner and the HPEFS network, maximizing leasing and asset management opportunities, and becoming a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the expert to the partner for extremely complex information regarding product, services, and software transitions, promotions, and configurations.
  • Promotes company offerings to become a key part of the partner's business and solutions; May be brought by partner to sell company brand to end-customers.
  • Establishes and maintains account plans to promote sales growth.
  • Achieves assigned quota for company products, services and software.
  • Transactional and relationship selling within, and influencing, a team of selling professionals; physically visits partner customers at their offices.
  • Creates, fills-in and manages company funnel for deals with partners and transforms potential leads into joint sales activities.
  • Actively engages company resources and senior executives to build strategic relationships with the partner which ensures long- term business opportunities for company.
  • Provides the business rationale and risk assessment for making company investments in the partner.
  • Ensures partners are compliant with legal and SBC practices.
  • May drive SOW growth with distributors who are managing small partners on behalf of company.
  • May recruit and develop business relationship with new partners.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Typically 8-12 years of selling experience at end- user account or partner level.
  • Experience selling to partners in a complex environment.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $168,900.00 - $380,200.00
