Job Description:
Job Family Definition:
Designs, constructs and tests prototype equipment for electrical systems and components, consistent with engineering and other specifications. Evaluates and modifies experimental equipment, concepts and systems. Creates basic designs via computer aided design software. Reads/interprets schematics, printouts and specifications as needed to complete tests to determine the functionality of electrical circuitry and/or computer programs. Participates with engineers in the debugging and troubleshooting of new and existing products.
Management Level Definition:
Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks. Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution. Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for servers / components installation.
- Responsible for the server management.
- Responsible for the component management.
- Collect and analyze the failure data and co-work with development team to fix the HW issue.
Education and Experience Required:
- Typically an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and 4-6 years of experience.
- May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non- degreed or degreed in an unrelated field.
- Be able to execute the tasks which come from different function teams.
- Be able to setup the necessary environment/equipment for users' requests.
- Be able to co-work with world-wide Lab engineers for the Lab tasks.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge in the field of electronics technology.
- Good understanding and working knowledge on server and networking concepts.
- Good analytical, problem solving & debugging skills.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and team working skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
