Packaging Engineer Intern

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Intern should be familiar with the basic foundation of functions principles, theories and concepts to assignment of limited scope. Will develop an expertise and practical knowledge of applications within the business environment. Works with the team by providing information, analysis and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Supports new and existing packaging for HPE Designs.
• Intern needs to have the people skills to work with a rapidly changing environment to meet the program objectives.
• Duties will include supporting the team by creating, validating and coordinating implementation of packaging solutions and cost savings in line with company sustainability goals.
• Assist with fragility testing using test equipment and application of theory to solve real problems.

Education and Experience:

• Working towards a bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering

Knowledge and Skills:

• Using software design tools.
• Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
• Familiar with product and packaging design.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Active listening skills.

USD Hourly: $27.50 - $33.25
