Job Description:
The Legal Department within HPE is an innovative legal solutions provider, relentlessly partnering with business, operational, and functional teams to achieve the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities:
The Taiwan Country Counsel will be responsible for:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and public sector contracts and tender documents covering information technology products and services,
• Supporting sales teams and assessing and mitigating risks under contracts with customers and suppliers,
• Advising internal business clients on a range of matters relevant to in the IT sector, including information technology supply and distribution arrangements, software licensing, cloud computing, and data privacy,
• Advising Human Resources on employment and labor law,
• Investigating potential breaches of HPE’s standards of business conduct,
• Collaborating with outside counsel and internal legal subject matter experts on mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and regulatory matters,
• Advising on all types of disputes and litigation and collaborating with the HPE litigation team and outside counsel,
• Managing the company’s local legal budget, and
• Maintaining the company’s local entities, including corporate record-keeping and drafting director and shareholder resolutions.

Requirements:
You must be licensed to practice law in Taiwan.
