Job Description:

The Data Center System Administrator is responsible for infrastructure monitoring and system administrative tasks of enterprise customers. He/she is responsible for supporting the successful transitioning of new or changed services into operations. For this role we are looking for someone with experience and good understanding on Windows administrations and virtualization technologies.

How you will make your mark:

• Deliver strategic account support by proactively monitoring, operating and administrating customer IT Environment to ensure proper operation and availability

• Control and administer hardware, operating system configurations

• Supervise all customer solutions in scope

• Provide leadership in technical incident and problem management and in their resolution, working closely with end customers and HPE remote and field support staff

• Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and clearly communicate these to engineers, customers and/or relevant managers

• Act as a consultant in the service delivery and be an active member of the IT Operations Center team

• Support service transitioning, customer service tooling and design

• Identify and contribute to projects to improve product support, customer satisfaction and team efficiency

• Communicate effectively with Technical and Non-Technical stakeholders

• Participate/Drive ITIL based change management, problem management, incident management

• Develop and grow assigned customer account relationships

About you:

• Bachelor or Master degree

• Around 3 years experience in a customer support environment

• System Administrator experience

• Advanced ITIL Process Knowledge

• Fluent in written and verbal English. German is an advantage.

• Analytical skills, ability to isolate and solve problems and to follow predefined processes

• Solid understanding and experience with Windows server administration and one or more virtualization technologies – VMware (vSphere, NSX, vSAN), Nutanix, Hyper-V

• Experience with LDAP and directory services, application servers and network infrastructure

• Experience with industry IT infrastructure monitoring tools and solutions

• Any additional experience with Microsoft products is an advantage
