What you’ll do
- Lead a work-stream as an SME and hands on Qualification of iLO product and solutions.
- Lead project team of QE engineers and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of STLC.
- Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and Validation.
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and Qualification guidelines and standard Compliance; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
What you need to bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 4-6 years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Core Competencies:
- Must have Hands on experience in Protocol Validation with preferred working experience in Redfish Protocol.
- Familiarity of server management solutions and Platform validation, Options validation knowledge and low level and firmware knowledge.
- Familiarity of functional testing with a wide array of BMC features in the areas of platform enablement, sensors, option cards, networking, interfaces like IPMI, GUI, server lifecycle management, networking, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, BMC/BIOS defaults, Power faults, Power capping, Factory mode, PCI, BMC event logs, BMC security aspects, LDAP etc.
- Experience in system setup with CPU, memory, storage and network cards, PSU, HDD, etc.
- Familiarity in Firmware upgrades/downgrades and server lifecycle management.
- Candidate should have good understanding test eco system including tools, setup, data, automation/framework.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle models and good understanding of Agile project management principles and practices
Other Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with focus on drive for results. It is an IC role.
- Fault tolerant systems and high availability is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Additional Skills:
- An understanding of datacentres, servers, storage, and networking concepts
- Experience in designing and determining test strategies, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
- Hands-on experience in design and development of automation framework and simulators
- Penchant for test automation for the product and end-to-end customer scenarios.
- Knowledge of DevOps
