At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our AI Cloud team and help drive our success. This role requires a highly motivated individual who brings strategic vision, energy, and enthusiasm to the position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a comprehensive understanding of the AI Cloud market and industry, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that lead to profitable growth. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is able to build strong relationships with our clients, sales teams and partners. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of business development experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a passion for driving results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective business development strategies to generate new customers in pipeline to meet revenue targets for AI Cloud

  • Sales Enablement – sales training, customer presentations, RFP responses, demos, and pipeline development

  • Analyze customer needs and provide solutions to meet customer requirements

  • Analyze existing markets and identify new opportunities for business growth

  • Develop and implement sales enablement plans and campaigns

  • Negotiate contracts with potential customers in partnership with Sales, legal, Finance and other stakeholders

  • Develop and deliver presentations on products and services to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10 + years of business development experience in Cloud, SaaS and AI segments

  • Bachelor's degree and/or Masters in a related field, and a passion for driving results

  • Experienced in enterprise sales or business development role within cloud or SaaS environment

  • Proven track record in delivering pipeline, business growth and customer wins

  • Strong understanding of the AI market and experience selling to enterprises, startups

  • Ability to develop, and execute strategies that lead to profitable growth and new business

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable selling to C-suite executives

  • Skilled at sales enablement to deliver business growth, new customer pipeline and customer wins in the cloud

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $130,500.00 - $300,000.00
