Job Description:
How you will make your mark:
As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network solutions across Campus and Data Center environments. This role focuses on leveraging Zero Trust architecture in Campus networks and implementing firewall and F5 load balancer solutions in Data Centers.
You will work extensively with ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and Aruba network devices to provide advanced security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Zero Trust solutions, focusing on Radius server (dot1x for wired and wireless networks), MAC authentication, LAN segmentation, and role-based access control.
Deploy and configure ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and Aruba network devices to enhance network security.
Design and implement firewall and F5 load balancer solutions to secure Data Center environments.
Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation to guide solution implementation.
Lead migration and implementation efforts, including configuration, troubleshooting, and testing of security solutions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and compliant.
About you:
Qualifications (Required):
Proven experience in Zero Trust security, especially with Radius server (dot1x for wired/wireless) and network segmentation.
Strong knowledge of firewall solutioning and F5 load balancer deployment.
Experience with Juniper or Cisco network solutions.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, VLANs, and access control.
Experience in preparing HLD/LLD documentation and leading technical implementations.
5+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (9+ years in total).
Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage.
You are a proactive and experienced network security professional passionate about implementing secure, scalable solutions.
You excel in troubleshooting and adapting to complex environments.
You communicate effectively with clients and technical teams, translating technical jargon into business solutions.
You thrive in both independent and team environments to achieve project goals.
Nice-to-Have:
Hands-on experience with ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and Aruba network devices.
German language skills are an advantage.
Cisco CCNA Certificate
Cisco Security Certificates (350-701 SCOR, 300-715 SISE) are strong advantage
