Intern - Linux-Open Source/AIML Technologies
Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our Internship Program. We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in Linux-Open Source, AI/ML Technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Virtualization while enhancing your scripting and coding skills.
Start Date: 17th February 2024 or 7th July 2024
What you’ll do:
Our teams are committed to delivering great customer experience through providing world class managed services and global support.
You will learn how to:
- Assist in managing and deploying containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support the setup and maintenance of virtualized environments.
- Write and debug basic scripts in Python and other scripting languages.
- Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and applications
What you’ll need:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or another IT related degree
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency: Understanding the basic concepts and commands in Linux operating systems.
- Containers & Virtualization: Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies.
- Exposure and knowledge towards the AI and ML concepts and the technologies.
- Scripting: Exposure to Python and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell).
- Basic Coding Skills: Ability to read, understand, and write simple scripts and codes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a willingness to tackle technical challenges.
- Comfort with working in a hybrid (virtual and face-to-face) environment
- Familiarity with Linux (OpenSource) would be a plus
