This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise offers university students the opportunity to join a leading IT company and gain invaluable experience through our Internship Program. HPE offers you a highly dynamic, fast-paced, professional working environment and the chance to develop the skills you have gained at university in a real business environment. During your internship you will not only apply these skills in the IT industry, but also acquire a range of abilities to contribute to the business whilst working alongside industry professionals. Throughout the program, you'll have regular training and one-to-one meetings with your manager. Working together, you'll set goals and plot your development. And with our open-plan offices and friendly working culture, you'll have the chance to learn from senior managers who can help you in your future career.

Start Date: 17th February 2024 or 7th July 2024

What you’ll do :

  • Work with a pool of Project Managers on a variety of projects; support or lead the fulfilment of PM related tasks of the assigned project/s and as PMO/ Support Project Administration
  • Act as a single point of contact, coordinate and communicate with team members, technical project staff, back-office administration teams and all other relevant counterparts to ensure the processes are followed and all the required activities within a project are done as planned
  • Support the management of project financials, prepares reports, presentations and required budget tracking; reports to Project Manager and/or Project Sponsors
  • Participate in set project/s related meetings & deliver required inputs, if applicable
  • Prepare presentations, reports, analysis regarding project/s status & future actions
  • Manage first level stakeholder relationships

As part of this team you will be involved in:

  • Responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the country, region or worldwide level. Includes but is not limited to development, implementation and governance of product service or solution portfolio lifecycle management.
  • Provide delivery readiness for New Product Introductions – ensure WW and GEO readiness aligned with all HPE Product Business Units: Storage , HPC & AI, Compute Products, Software and GreenLake
  • Provide delivery readiness for New Service Introductions – ensure WW and GEO readiness aligned with all HPE Services Portfolio
  • Service Delivery Guide Engineering (SDG)
  • Manage End of Support Life (EOSL) Planning
  • Sets product service metric goals, monitors product support business performance and identifies when corrective action is required.
  • Collaborates with regions/WW regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance.

What you’ll need:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree
  • Have demonstrated analytical skills
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with proactive approach
  • Have advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English
  • The drive to seek out what’s next and to deliver exceptional results
  • The desire to embrace new ideas and fresh thinking and seek out ideas different than your own
  • Comfort with working in a hybrid (virtual and face-to-face) environment
