In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. Joining our OCTO HPE Org as a Program Manager and working as part of our OpsRamp team is a chance to make history and be a driving force in the industry. What you'll do:
Incident Management: Lead the response and resolution of critical incidents, ensuring timely and effective actions are taken to minimize downtime and impact on end-users.
Program Coordination: Manage program timelines, identify bottlenecks, and ensure smooth workflow by maintaining close communication with cross-functional teams.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Use analytical skills to review program data, identify trends, and develop insights to drive decision-making. Generate reports to track key program metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Escalation Management: Establish and follow proper escalation procedures to engage the right teams and resources promptly when handling complex production issues.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance incident management processes and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective handling of issues.
Stakeholder Communication: Keep key stakeholders, including executives and management, informed about incidents, resolutions, and ongoing improvement efforts.
Issue Tracking and Resolution: Work with Engineering and Support teams to ensure any program-related issues are promptly identified, documented, and resolved. Escalate critical issues when necessary.
Coordinates multiple projects within a large scale program involving one or more functions driving the engineering development and implementation process for products or service offerings.
Develops portions of support requirements for assigned project, including budgets, and resource allocation plans, in accordance with provided plan and specifications.
Coordinates the activities of associated project teams; tracks progress against established plans, reports results, and makes recommendations for alterations or updates to program manager.
Develops program communications, including creation of status reports and summaries, tracking escalations and resolutions of issues, coordinating stakeholder meetings and updates, and updating project and program plans.
Leads resources across multiple projects.
What you need to bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 4-6 years in program management or a similar role.
Exposure to SaaS model of product delivery.
Experience in solving problems, both structured and ambiguous, at scale with strong attention to detail in fast changing business environments with technical mindset.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in reporting and the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, and recommendations and drive customer focused decisions.
Excellent project management skills and proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce).
Strong technical background, with in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, and web applications.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to ensure clear, concise updates for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Support, and Customer teams.
