Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Storage Sales Specialist to join our team in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for driving HPE's storage solutions within French-speaking Belgium and Luxembourg, working closely with commercial accounts and channel partners. This is an account management role with a strong emphasis on farming (2/3) and hunting (1/3), supported by dedicated hunters.
This position is ideal for expert-level sales professionals with a strong background in IT and storage sales who are eager to leverage their expertise in a customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Cover accounts in French-speaking Belgium and Luxembourg, maintaining and growing customer relationships.
Sales Focus: Engage in a mix of channel and direct sales, with a primary focus on channel partnerships.
Customer Engagement: Understand customers’ unique storage needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Partner Collaboration: Work closely with channel partners to develop business opportunities and drive storage sales.
Hunting & Farming: Focus 1/3 on hunting and 2/3 on farming, ensuring sustained business growth.
Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date on IT trends, including AI, machine learning, and emerging storage technologies, to effectively advise customers.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in IT sales, with at least 3 years of experience in storage sales.
Languages: Native French speaker with fluency in English (mandatory).
Sales Experience: Strong track record of selling IT solutions, particularly in storage sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Technical degrees in IT or related fields are preferred.
Languages: Trilingual proficiency (French, Dutch, and English) is highly desirable.
