Job Description:

HPE Financial Services combines technology insights, financial expertise, and a deep-rooted focus on sustainability to create smarter IT lifecycles for customers and partners of all sizes. Working across the entire tech estate, from edge to cloud to end-user, our collaborative approach delivers asset management solutions that not only free up capital and maximize capacity, but also advance sustainable practices globally and consistently.

The HPEFS Account Manager (AM) is responsible for selling HPEFS solutions into assigned accounts. Solutions include financing and asset management including HPEFS Asset Upcycling Services. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers to ensure they can maximise their investment in their IT estate. You will also work closely with HPEFS's high value relationships including HPE sales and HP sales and partner teams to educate, build relationships and drive profitable sales within assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the customer relationship as the primary point person at HPEFS assuming responsibility for the successful implementation of financing solutions & asset lifecycle solutions
  • Educate and train the HPE and HP sales teams on the benefits of HPEFS offerings to close multiple opportunities within an assigned customer or partner set
  • Prospect, qualify, propose and close HPEFS transactions with customers
  • Pass deal leads outside of assigned territory to appropriate HPEFS sales team
  • Use internal & external digital tools to help identify key influencers within partner accounts to help increase the HPEFS attach rates.
  • Work with assigned customers to identifying opportunities to position the entire HPEFS portfolio
  • Effectively use all of HPEFS digital CRM platforms (Salesforce) to actively manage open pipeline of opportunities & accurately forecast business results
  • Actively engage with all cross functional teams within the HPEFS organisation to help create a positive customer/partner experience as an end-to-end team
  • Be accountable for meeting/exceeding quota

Competencies:

  • 3 years’ sales experience, selling to Commercial accounts, achieving revenue targets
  • Channel or End user Sales experience within New Zealand or Australia highly regarded
  • Knowledge of financing industry offerings & ability to differentiate HPEFS business value from competitive offerings highly regarded
  • Previous experience in executing plans & being a trusted single point of contact for your customers
  • Able to build & maintain successful relationships with partners
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation & presentation skills
  • Good business accumen
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual team environments & under pressure
  • Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce.com a plus)

Experience:

  • College degree required, post graduate degree a plus
  • 3+ years of sales related experience preferred
