This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

In a typical day as Presales Engineer, you would:

  • Deliver pre-sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and partners
  • Support sales efforts through on-site meetings, group presentations and marketing activities
  • Manage and own all technical aspects of the sales cycle
  • Own the technical relationship with customers, partners and resellers through technical training, problem escalation and new feature requests
  • Provide prompt feedback to and be ready to aid product management and engineering on future direction of the product
  • Participate in discussion with marketing and engineering teams on new product introduction and provide feedback.


If you are…

  • Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen, you are aligned to our core values!
  • Holding a degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiar with HPE Aruba products and solutions (Aruba Central, Clearpass, WiFi and Switching)
  • Able to demonstrate a knowledge of networking protocols, product and solution like SDWAN & SASE
  • Showing Cloud Skills and Security knowledge (Cloud and on-prem)
  • Able to demonstrate the Software Defined solutions for Data Center and LAN environment
  • Able to present to an audience of mixed roles and technical abilities within an organization
  • Team player willing to help out peers and other teams within the company, showing a positive attitude
  • Able to present to a large audience or group of people
  • Holding technical certifications
  • Positive attitude towards traveling to customers throughout Slovakia
  • Time flexibility with respect to a dynamic schedule
  • Fluency with both English and Slovakian languages
