Management Level Definition:
Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary. Might act as project lead and provide assistance to lower level professionals. Exercises independent judgment and consults with others to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
As a Systems Engineer at HPE Aruba Networking, you will act as a technical expert and portfolio enabler, combining deep technical knowledge with market insight. Your role positions you as both a technical ambassador and a trusted advisor, driving portfolio understanding and execution within your assigned customer territory.
Client/customer relationship:
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and partners in your assigned sector (MDI)
- Represent HPE Aruba as a technical expert in customer/partner meetings, forums, and industry events
- Drive opportunities through consultative engagement techniques
- Build customer loyalty by becoming a trusted advisor
- Collaborate effectively with the wider account team to ensure overall customer satisfaction
- Reliquary meeting with Partner/Customer to increase customer satisfaction.

Solution Planning , Design and Troubleshooting:
- Develop deep technical expertise in key areas of WLAN/LAN/Data Center
- Gain a strong understanding of the end-to-end Networking solutions
- Obtain Aruba Expert-level certifications or other Expert certifications such as CCIE-RS, CCIE-DC, CCIE-Wireless etc.
- Tailor proposals and solution designs to meet specific customer requirements
- Demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the proposed solutions
- Identify growth paths and scalability for long-term architectural positioning
- Clearly articulate key elements of the implementation plan, managing stakeholder expectations
- Good practical experience
Team collaboration:
- Actively support the account team with solution guidance, proposal development, presentations, and customer communications
- Provide technical support and input for deals in the pipeline
- Collaboration with Service TAC support team/Partner to find out root causes
- Share expertise by mentoring peers and participating in knowledge transfer and internal enablement programs
- Understand cross-functional roles and engage effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Facilitate a smooth transition from presales to delivery, ensuring continuity in project design and execution
About you:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in science or a related field
- Have 7–10 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Systems Engineer, or Presales role, preferably with a manufacturer and/or system integrator
- Experienced in designing and supporting complex enterprise networks across various industries
- Proficient in networking solutions including routing, switching, Wi-Fi, Data Center, and network management platforms — both on-premises and cloud-based (as-a-service)
- Hold relevant networking certifications (e.g., HPE Aruba Networking, Cisco, Juniper, Extreme); additional experience with network access control/security solutions (e.g., ClearPass, Cisco ISE, ) is a strong advantage
- Possess strong skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation, with the ability to build trust and influence technical and business stakeholders
- Able to understand and align with customer value chains, technical innovations, and evolving industry trends
- Knowledgeable in competitive solutions and capable of positioning HPE Aruba offerings effectively against other vendors
- Strong in customer-facing communication, with the ability to translate technical product features into clear business value
- A collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, able to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment
Skill and Certification:
- Expert WLAN & LAN knowledge skills.
- Possess relevant network and information security certificates such as Cisco CCIE, Aruba ACMX/ACSX, Juniper JNCIE
