Job Description:
HPE provides a complete in-house software-based LTE/5G connectivity platform that runs in cloud or virtualized data center environments and on ruggedized hardware. Our platform allows customers to break free from the restrictive, expensive, proprietary telco-centric architecture of legacy solutions and embrace the true potential of wireless. Private 5G is one of the fastest-growing new segments of enterprise networking.
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to drive the development and evolution of our Management Dashboard, an intuitive platform designed to simplify the management of complex private networks. The Management Dashboard empowers users to effectively manage small and medium private networks, offering swift implementation of changes while hiding underlying complexity.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining, planning, and delivering features while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets business and technical objectives.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and acceptance criteria that meet business objectives. Work on Customer Commitments to ensure alignment with end-user needs.
Conduct feature analysis, feasibility studies, architectural design and create blueprints for new functionalities.
Ensure the development backlog is well-organized, prioritized, and aligned with the product roadmap.
Work with engineering teams to oversee the software design and ensure technical feasibility.
Support the development of the test strategy and collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality through rigorous testing.
Facilitate bug triage, working with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues.
Support the release lifecycle, contributing to release planning and execution.
Be a servant leader to the team, driving collaboration and helping the team achieve its goals.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Typically, 5 years of experience in engineering teams or technical product ownership, or a related role.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understating of software development lifecycle and best practices.
Proven expertise in software system design, web-service and development planning, with strong skills in designing scalable REST APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experienced in microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, database integration, and implementing security best practices for modern software solutions.
Elixir experience is a plus
Knowledge of Telco OSS/BSS is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
