HPE Storage is one of the key growth drivers in HPE’s portfolio. With innovative, software-driven, cloud-operated storage solutions – from Edge to Cloud – we help organizations manage their data securely, efficiently, and for the future. Our approach combines modern cloud-native platforms, integrated Data Services, and HPE GreenLake to deliver measurable business value.
To strengthen our Swiss Data Services team, we are looking for an experienced Presales professional who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for engaging customers and shaping solutions that solve real business challenges.
What you'll do as a Storage Presales Consultant:
Customer-facing consulting – Understand technical and business needs, design tailored HPE Storage solutions, and articulate their value to a variety of stakeholders.
Technical sales support – Create and deliver architecture designs, solution proposals, and business cases that clearly demonstrate competitive advantage.
Proof of Concept & demos – Lead product demonstrations, PoCs, and performance benchmarks to support the customer decision process.
Partner engagement – Build and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners and system integrators, including enablement and certification activities.
Storytelling & value selling – Present complex storage technologies in a clear, compelling way to audiences from IT management to C-level.
Market & competitive insight – Capture customer and partner feedback and feed it into product management and R&D to help shape innovation.
Industry presence – Represent HPE Storage at customer workshops, industry forums, and technical events as a trusted subject matter expert.

If you show these fields of Education, Skills and Experience:
A technical degree or equivalent education.
5+ years in IT, with strong experience in technical presales or consulting focused on enterprise storage.
Solid expertise in storage technologies (arrays, data protection, backup & recovery, hybrid/multi-cloud architectures).
Familiarity with adjacent technologies such as virtualization, networking, public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), and data management solutions.
Strong consultative selling skills, including active listening, whiteboarding, storytelling, and objection handling.
Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both German (fluent) and English (proficient).
Passion for innovation, customer success, and translating technology into tangible business outcomes.
