Job Description:
About the Company
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Aruba Networks (HPE Aruba Networks) is global leader in the networking products and services space. The User Experience Insight (UXI) team, formerly Cape Networks, was acquired by HPE in 2018. As Cape Networks, we had a big vision: to improve the way the Internet works for everyone. We built a small team of skilled engineers and designers in Cape Town and a product that won us “Best Startup of the Year” from Wi-Fi NOW.
Now, as part of the broader HPE Aruba Networking group, we’re focused on growth, integration, and innovation. We are expanding our product offering to complement our leading Wi-Fi assurance services.
What do we do?
Our product provides IT managers with insights into Wi-Fi, network, and application performance to proactively solve issues before they impact users. Unlike complex tools built for network engineers, our solution is simple, intuitive, and widely loved. Businesses across industries—offices, universities, banks, hotels, airports, stadiums, retail stores, and more—use our monitoring suite to enhance their network performance.
Designed and developed entirely in Cape Town, our UXI hardware sensors are ARM-based IoT devices running Linux, while our cloud backend systems leverage Python, React, Postgres, Clickhouse, and AWS services. Our software agents, built in Rust, are platform-agnostic and run on Windows and macOS devices.
