Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Change Management Lead to join our cybersecurity organization. This role is responsible for managing all organizational change related to cybersecurity initiatives that impact HPE. The ideal candidate will be a master of navigating the human side of change, ensuring the successful adoption of new security processes, technologies, and policies. This individual will play a key role in fostering a resilient, security-first culture that aligns with our strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Change Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive, global change management strategy for the cybersecurity function. This includes creating and implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize engagement.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Identify and analyze key stakeholders across all levels and regions of the organization to ensure their buy-in and support for cybersecurity initiatives. Develop and implement a multi-channel communication plan to keep all employees informed about upcoming changes, their benefits, and their roles in the transition.
- Impact and Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough change impact assessments to identify potential risks, anticipate points of resistance, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Training and Communications: Design and oversee the development of engaging training and communication materials and programs to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt new cybersecurity practices and technologies. This includes customizing content for different departments and their unique cyber challenges.
- Metrics and Reporting: Define and measure success metrics to monitor the progress and effectiveness of change initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of change adoption, challenges, and outcomes.
- Advisory and Coaching: Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders and managers to help them effectively guide their teams through change.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education / Experience in Organizational Development, Change Management, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior or lead change management role, with a significant portion of that time focused on technology or cybersecurity initiatives within a large, multinational corporation.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex, large-scale change initiatives across a global organization.
Essential Skills:
- Expertise in Change Management Methodologies: Deep understanding and practical application of change management principles and methodologies, such as Prosci ADKAR or other similar frameworks.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align change initiatives with broader business and cybersecurity objectives.
- Exceptional Communication: World-class communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a clear and compelling vision for change to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
- Stakeholder Influence: Demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of a complex organization.
- Risk Management: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with organizational change.
- Leadership and Coaching: Proven ability to lead and coach others through change, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in change management (e.g., CCMP or Prosci Certified Change Practitioner)
- Experience with large-scale cybersecurity transformations, such as the implementation of Zero Trust architecture or company-wide security awareness programs.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay.
