Job Description:

The Digital Sales Representative manages virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of accounts; builds, maintains and forecasts sales pipeline, creates and develops account plans. They work closely with company outside sales, channel partners and end customers to move sales opportunities to closure. They generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities, sets and executes sales strategy for an assigned portion of their accounts.

They apply basic foundation principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. They use professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. They develop expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Sells standard solutions for a portion or a set of assigned accounts based on defined account strategies and plans; may partner with field sales or sell independently
  • Creates account plan for a portion or a set of assigned accounts that are of low to medium complexity
  • May generate and qualify potential leads which they may handle or pass onto field sales or channel partner
  • Builds targeted sales pipeline.
  • Provides special bid pricing support across the territory
  • Handles general enquiries from partners and customers
  • Provides enablement to select partners

About You:

  • 1-3 years of relevant sales experience or equivalent
  • Foundational understanding of company's portfolios of products and services
  • Introductory industry knowledge in a particular territory
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment
  • Hunter approach or strategic "farmer or relationship selling approach.
  • Customer Relationship Management system or Salesforce system which allows businesses to manage business relationships and the data and information associated with them.
