Customer Account Specialist Intern (Jan 2026 Intake)

Job Description:

You will support the day-to-day management of customer accounts and assist in ensuring timely payment collection. You will work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Finance and Portfolio to track payment status, perform account reconciliation and help maintain accurate records.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales operations, customer account management and process coordination in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking customer payments and updating collection status reports
  • Support follow-up activities with internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Finance and Portfolio) to resolve outstanding payment or documentation issues
  • Help prepare and organize documents such as invoices, contracts and collection summaries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in collection systems and shared trackers
  • Assist in analyzing payment trends or account issues under guidance from the team
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline collection workflows

Skills:

  • Able to commit minimum 4 months from January 2026
  • Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is a must
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skill.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial data
  • Proactive, responsible and eager to learn about sales operations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling customer information
