The Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a deep specialization in Backend Engineering to architect and implement our agentic storefront platform. This is not a traditional full-stack role, you will be responsible for building a high-performance ecosystem where deterministic reliable UI components interface with autonomous AI agents.

Your work will span the entire technical stack- from engineering the orchestration layers for AI agents to developing the robust backend services that empower ML models, connecting to our data layer. These systems allow our storefronts to process market dynamics in real-time and deliver a hyper-personalized, data-driven experience for every customer.

What You'll Do

• Architect the Agentic Storefront Framework: Design and evolve a robust, fully configurable React component library that serves as the deterministic foundation for our autonomous, agent-driven storefronts.
• Orchestrate Multi-Agent Systems: Construct a sophisticated team of AI agents capable of autonomously building and scaling premium online stores on Shopify using your core UI library.
• Engineer High-Performance Backend Services: Develop the low-latency golang services that power our personalization layer, ensuring every customer visit is unique, data-driven, and hyper-relevant in real-time.
• Bridge the AI & Commerce Gap: Build the orchestration layer in golang that allows AI agents to perceive market dynamics and translate those insights into immediate, programmatic adaptations within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Scale the Agentic Data Layer: Design the backend architecture and data structures that empower agents with the context needed to make intelligent, store-level decisions at scale.
• Define Engineering Standards: As a senior owner, you will establish the architectural patterns, coding standards, and best practices for golang and React development across our agentic platform.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ Years experience in Full-Stack or Backend Engineering with a deep focus on building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Strong proficiency in a modern backend language (e.g., Node.js, Java, Rust, etc.) and experience designing high-concurrency, low-latency services and robust API architectures (Golang is a plus).
• Solid frontend engineering experience with modern frameworks (React is a plus), including building deterministic, highly configurable, and reusable component systems.
• Proven ability to build high-performance services that integrate complex business logic with a seamless frontend experience, ideally within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Experience designing end-to-end systems that connect backend logic, data models, and frontend experiences into a cohesive product.
• A strong sense of ownership, with experience leading technical decisions and defining engineering best practices.
