Location: Remote (must be UK based)
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic full-time Production Assistant. The ideal Production Assistant will be a self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure, work independently with limited supervision and have solid problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills. As Production Assistant you will....
Responsibilities
The scope of work may include but is not limited to the following:
- To uphold each client booking through to its successful completion.
- Administer all client and supplier queries promptly to maintain daily operational throughput.
- Communicate effectively across all departments on internal topics, ensuring the Production team perform as part of a highly resourceful and effective organisation.
- Implement and monitor each booking, having a full understanding of each phase from quoting through to delivery.
- Continuous monitoring of all job deadlines to ensure these are met within good time, and forward plan to resolve any deliveries that may be in jeopardy.
- Approve assets to check they meet all client specifications.
- Respond to incoming client and freelancer queries regarding ongoing jobs, in a professional and helpful manner.
- Trouble-shoot queries from freelancers and suppliers regarding on-going jobs.
- Assist with the scheduling, manual assigning and monitoring of self-assignments ensuring all deadlines are met
- Administer complaints promptly and effectively
- Assist the Production Manager with ad-hoc tasks, not limited to:
o Updating departmental documentation
o Demonstrating and sharing knowledge and experience with the Production team.
o Participation in the updating and improvement of department processes and tools.
In order to be great at this job you’ll need:
- Positive customer service approach and attitude
- Proven communication and organisational skills
- Ability to think quickly, multi-task and keep calm under pressure
- Self-motivation and proven ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent IT skills including ability to learn new software/programs quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook
- Experience of Microsoft Access and Excel
- Flexible team player.
It will be even better if you have:
- A basic understanding of broadcast and/or digital video/ftp technology
- Experience with interactive meeting technology (Microsoft Teams)
- Experience collaborating with a multi-national team.
